ABOUT

Vincent Wechselberger was born in Austria and is based in Berlin, where he lives and works as a photographer. His practice centres on queer community and the intersectional realities that shape it. Much of his work documents his friends and himself in moments of joy, intimacy, grief, and rapture, as a way of affirming queer identity and advocating for more inclusive coexistence.

Following the publication of his zine HOLES—a series of 70 photographs and texts celebrating queerness and the body—Wechselberger released his first photobook READY, focusing on queer sex workers. His upcoming project turns toward his three younger sisters.
